Hodder & Stoughton Hard Cover Good
1904-1908. This is the four volume set as stated in the British library catalogue; however, the spines state Vol 1 (part 1) , Vol 2, Vol 3 (part 1) Vol 4 - it appears that there was never a part 2 to either volume (as recorded in the British library catalogue). Ex Department of Ophthalmology as stated on endpaper and no other marks. Old personal bookplate in a couple of vols. Wear to extremities with nicking a tiny chips at spine tips (no lettering affected). Volume one has a 4" split to middle of spine but otherwise tight. Internally complete with NO LOOSE & NO MISSING leaves. Endpapers ORIGINAL & UNSPLIT. A good reading working set.
