First edition, first printing. 8vo. 288pp. Black buckram boards with yellow titles to spine. Housed in a bespoke black quarter Morocco clamshell box with gilt titles and raised bands. A near fine/fine copy. Unrubbed boards; several light translucent marks to rear board (which are not visible at most angles) o/w very fine & extremely crisp. Black unfaded spine with unrubbed lettering. Internally fine & untouched with no inscriptions. Very clean & fresh textblock edges with no marks. None of the usual foxing - remarkably crisp. Aside from the very light mark to rear board, an exceptional copy of a rare title.
