Marbled boards. Internally complete with illustrated frontispiece of Emperors. Closely cropped to head of leaves. Paper repairs to foot of frontis & titlepage. Watermark to bottom blank margin throughout (not affecting text) with a couple of leaves with small nicks in this area. Provenance - "Geo Green 1848" manuscript hand to titlepage. ESTC R22311.
