Internally complete with some marginalisation to edges of halftitle and some light slither edge chipping to a few early leaves. Heavy toning to cheap wartime paper stock. Long inscription to half title - scouting related & dated 1949. A rare early pre WWI edition - becoming very difficult to find.

An all time bestseller and at one time second only to the bible. The original blue print for the scout movement. Exceptionally rare in early dustwrapper.
