First edition, first printing. 8vo. Publisher's illustrated blue cloth boards with gilt titles and illustrations. Very bright gilt textblock edges. A near fine copy light wear only to extremities and few tiny light translucent marks. Light wrinkle to cloth toward bottom left of front board. No chipping or splitting & none of the usual darkening to spine. Clean boards with lovely bright gilt. Internally complet. Evidence of bookplate removal from front endpaper. Neat contemporary ink inscription to half title dated '95 and small ink mark to front blank. No splitting to original endpapers. A few small light handling marks within. A very attractive copy.
