Officially Signed by Author on publisher's "Autographed copy of Ascent of Everest" bookplate. First edition, first printing. 8vo. Blue boards with gilt lettering to spine. Pictorial dustwrapper by W. Heaton Cooper. A very good+/near fine copy. A light mark at head of spine where dustwrapper has a short tear. Internally complete & clean. Usual offsetting to endpaper. The very good+/ near fine dustwrapper is complete with light wear to extremities & short closed tear to top left head of spine. Mild toning to spine. An attractive officially signed copy.
