Rebound in decorative half dark Morocco with raised bands, elaborate gilt spine & marbled boards. Internally clean and complete. Half title with some tissue repairs to edges of leaf. Page 419 has some marginalisation to leading edge. Collates complete.

An attempt by a leading Catholic Gentleman to prove compatibility between Geological findings and the Biblical accounts.
