Big Money.
Herbert Jenkins, 1931.
First edition, first issue orange boards with black titles. A very good+/near fine copy with clean boards. Some mild spots to textblock edges. One tiny mark to front board. Internally clean and complete. Some offsetting to halftitle. No inscriptions. Some light very occasional spotting. No inscriptions & no splitting to endpapers.
Most of the Big Money belongs to Torquil Paterson Fr sby, the dyspeptic American Millionaire but that doesn't stop him wanting more of it. His niece, the beautiful Ann Moon, is engaged to "Biscuit", Lord Biskerton, who doesn't have very much of the stuff and so has to escape to Valley Fields to hide from his creditors.
