Long inscription to half title in old manuscript ink hand from an Uncle to a nephew dated 1890 about "Why the Rabbit's Tail is White with lovely reference to asking Brother Rabbit "why" from the text of the book. No loose or missing leaves. A lovely early copy of this classic book of tales. A beautiful copy with a beautiful provenance.
