Circa 1940s. 4to. Illustated boards with blue cloth spine & black titles. A near fine copy with clean boards. Light wear only. Internally clean & complete with no inscriptions. Very slight small erasure mark to haltitle. Endpapers original and unsplit. The very good+ dustwrapper has some edgewear to extremities with a few pieces of old clear tape repair to reverse of wrapper. Small nick to bottom right corner. Original 10/6net to front flap. A lovely copy from the 1940s beautifully illustrated with 16 colour plates by Margaret Tarrant & complete with its original dustwrapper.
